How We Test Humanizer.gg

This page exists so you don't have to take our marketing copy on faith — it lays out the exact loop we run against real AI detectors, so you can judge our methodology for yourself.

The testing loop

This is not a one-time benchmark we ran once and screenshotted. It's a repeating cycle that runs continuously against the engine.

1

Generate raw drafts

We generate AI drafts from the major large language models across a spread of formats — essays, articles, emails, reports — to use as raw test input. This mirrors what real users actually paste in.

2

Run the humanizer

Those raw drafts go through the same humanizer engine every paying and free user gets — no special internal build, no hand-tuned demo version.

3

Submit to detectors

The humanized output is submitted to each of the detectors we track — Turnitin, GPTZero, Originality.ai, Copyleaks, and ZeroGPT — and the raw result from each is recorded as-is.

4

Log and re-tune

Results get logged and compared against prior runs. When a detector updates its model and starts catching output it previously missed, that's a signal to go back and re-tune the engine, not to change the wording on this page.

Detectors we test against

These five are the detectors we run in every testing cycle. Detectors change their underlying models frequently and without notice, so this is an ongoing process we repeat, not a badge we earned once.

Reading the results honestly

A testing methodology is only trustworthy if it's paired with an honest account of its limits.

What "human score" actually means

A human score is a detector's own estimate, not a certificate we issue. No detector is perfectly accurate, and no humanizer — ours included — is either. Two detectors can and do disagree on the exact same paragraph, because each uses its own model and its own thresholds.

A passing score today is not a permanent guarantee. Detectors update their models on their own schedule, sometimes catching text they previously missed. That's precisely why the testing loop above runs on an ongoing basis instead of stopping once we like a result.

What we do not do

  • We do not fabricate facts or change the meaning of your original text. The engine restructures sentences; it does not invent claims.
  • We do not guarantee passing any specific school's, publisher's, or institution's plagiarism or AI-use policy. Those policies are set by the institution, not by us.
  • We are not a substitute for understanding your own writing. Read and stand behind whatever you submit under your name.

See it for yourself

Don't take our word for it. Check your own AI-generated text first, then run it through the humanizer and compare.
