How Upgrades, Downgrades, and Billing Cycles Work
Changing plans on Humanizer.gg works differently depending on whether you are upgrading or downgrading, and your word quota resets on a schedule tied to your billing date, not the calendar.
Upgrading Is Immediate
Moving to a higher tier on the same billing interval (for example, Basic monthly to Pro monthly) swaps your subscription immediately. You are charged a prorated amount for the rest of your current period, and the new limits are available right away.
Downgrading Is Scheduled
Moving to a lower tier, or switching between monthly and yearly billing, is scheduled to take effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep your current plan's limits until then, so you are never short-changed on the period you already paid for.
When Your Word Quota Resets
Your request and word count reset monthly, aligned to your subscription's actual renewal date. This is true even on yearly plans — your quota still refreshes every month rather than once a year.
Managing Payment Methods and Invoices
Open the Billing Portal from your dashboard to update your card, download past invoices, or review your current subscription, without contacting support.
