Humanizing Long Documents: Splitting Text Across Requests

3 min read Updated Jul 16, 2026

Every plan has a maximum number of words per single humanize request, from 300 words as a guest up to 3,000 on Ultra. Longer documents need to be split, not truncated.

Check Your Per-Request Limit First

Your limit depends on your account: 300 words as a guest, 400 on a free account, and 600, 1,200, or 3,000 on Basic, Pro, and Ultra respectively. The live word counter under the input box shows exactly where you stand.

Upload Instead of Copy-Pasting Long Files

For DOCX or PDF documents, use the upload card instead of pasting, then split the extracted text at natural breaks — headings, chapters, or sections — before running each part through Humanize.

Keep Section Breaks Logical

Split at paragraph or heading boundaries, not mid-sentence or mid-argument. Each chunk should stand on its own so the engine has full context for that section.

Reassemble and Do One Final Read

Once every section is humanized, stitch the document back together and read it once end-to-end. Check that transitions between sections still flow naturally.
